Linfra provides a simple solution for ultra-high capacity wireless transmission applications, with the convenience, compact size and economy delivered by a split-mount radio architecture.

Equipment incorporates the latest technology to deliver a wireless solution optimized for backhaul networks, whether connecting base stations for 2G or 3G mobile networks or terminals for MMDS fixed wireless access or private networks.

It has concentrated on providing innovative features to lower the total cost of wireless backhaul while enhancing the overall experience in planning, ordering and delivery through to deployment and ongoing maintenance; all while providing an upgrade path to meet the demands of next generation network requirements.

Equipment present compact indoor solution with built-in traffic cross-connection and add & drop to eliminate external equipment and lower the cost of deploying high capacity wireless systems and it also offers extending capacities possibility. All this allow having less rack and floor space and making capacity migration saves on upgrade costs.

The Transmission System mainly consists of:

Network nodes

The design features of the Equipment combine to provide the most efficient solution available yet for the construction of wireless transmission networks. These features include:
• Compact, modular Indoor Unit design (INU) supporting multiple radio paths to   eliminate multiple indoor units;
• High-speed bus architecture enabling traffic routing without external cabling;
• Super-PDH capacity options to replace SDH wireless systems for high-speed   transmission requirements.


Super-PDH

Linfra offers an alternative to traditional backhaul network architectures with new high-speed Super-PDH networking that expands the reach of PDH from the network edge right through to the high-capacity core.


Intelligent Node Unit

The Intelligent Node Unit (INU) is an indoor rack-mounted unit, which enables the network node capability.



ODU

The ODU is a flexible outdoor unit. The ODU interfaces to INU using the RAC interfaces cards.


Radio Access Cards (RAC)

The Radio Access Card (RAC) is a module located in the INU that provides the interface to the ODU. The RAC converts baseband data taken from the INU TDM Bus into an intermediate frequency (IF) signal for transmission over coaxial cable to the ODU.
